New online graphics and data metrics have been updated for the Crime Index and violence in the schools measures of the perception of safety indicator.  The Crime Index for Washoe County as a whole remains less than the State of Nevada, although higher than western states and the nation.  Violence to students and staff in the Washoe County School District continues to decline, however, the same is not true for possession of controlled substances.

Excel data tables can be downloaded and used internally by 2008 TMT members.
